332: Rihanna – Diamonds

“Diamonds” is one of those songs that girls just love to sing along to. Here’s a few examples of how we work it into our sets.

Dj Jay Spring’s Example:
2 Reasons (SmithAgentSmith Bootleg)
Diamonds (Bimbo Jones Remix/Jay Spring Transition)
Beauty and a Beat (Wideboys Remix)

Dj JD’s Example:
Llove Knas Teenage Crime (Jesse Jess Bootleg)
Diamonds (Congorock Remix)
Don’t Worry Child (Jason Dee Clap Edit)

  1. I wouldn’t mind hearing how you guys play “All Gold Everything.” I have been using the Korean Blow Remix. Thanks

  2. JD/JAY SPRING: YOU GUYS HAVE MADE PROGRESS… AGING. HAHA J/K

    HAPPY NEW YEARS FELLAS.

  3. Great examples. The ones I use are the following:

DanceHall/Reggae sets: Diamonds (Shokkout Reggae Remix)

Uptempo/Top 40/EDM sets: Diamonds (Shahaf Moran Remix) works really well, as its pretty close to the original, just bumped up on the BPM.

Top 40/90-95 BPM sets: Diamonds (Razor Rob Flashing Lights Intro) works awesome. This edit is more of a Scratch-In edit as it features the intro vocal from Kanye and T-Pain’s “Good Life” where he says “LIKE WE ALWAYS DO AT THIS TIME” and goes into a nice intro. Sets the mood to break up the set in the night. I try to play this closer to the end of the night when I am trying to cool people off to go home and Hit em with lovey dovey stuff.
